Main Objective

The purpose of this role is to work with the Brand Marketing Manager in planning, executing and evaluating the digital marketing programs of Mercedes-Benz Cars Middle East (MBCME).

This role is an incredibly exciting opportunity to shape the future of MBCME digital communication, leveraging your experience on diverse marketing disciplines such as events, sponsorships & CRM activities. For the right candidate, there will be plenty of opportunities to work on industry-benchmark projects within a dynamic team.

 

  • Demonstrate a strategic understanding of all digital marketing tactics and how they work together
  • Understand how digital strategy fits into the regional and local marketing and sales activities
  • Collaborate closely with team members, HQ, General Distributors (GDs) & other departments in cross-functional teams to support the achievement of business and brand objectives in the short and long-term

 

Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Develop and manage the strategic roadmap for Mercedes-Benz Cars Middle East (MBCME) digital presence on both mobile and desktop and other digital platforms in help with the Brand Marketing Manager to accomplish organizational objectives
  • Manage MBCME websites by working with internal teams and external agencies to ensure the accuracy of content & layout within the brand guidelines. This includes product launches, lifecycle campaign, special projects and the continuous development of our web presence
  • Collaborate with the appointed agency on the brand SEO/SEM content
  • Social Media ownership and project management this includes community & lead management
  • Continuously work on and execute the regional social media guidelines and auditing system for the GDs
  • Develop and distribute (to all stakeholders) frequent analytics reporting to include customer feedback and overall KPI metrics which will help top management in making strategic decisions
  • Monitor customer needs and keep current on industry standards/trends and respond by making adjustments to content & user experience on MBCME digital platforms this also includes Market research & intelligence
  • Play a vital role in developing the CRM strategy for Mercedes-Benz brand in the region in collaboration with other departments

Knowledge/Skill/Experience

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Digital Marketing, preferably with agency background
  • Experience in delivering brand experience campaigns through all consumer touchpoints
  • Automotive marketing experience is a Plus
  • Proven SEO/SEM experience
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
  • Experience in buying media on Facebook;
  • Facebook Blueprint Certification is a plus
  • Experience with website CMS & analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics
  • Copy and creative writing experience (in both Arabic & English) is a strong asset
  • Solid project management experience and ability to prioritize and work on several projects simultaneously
  • Experience in working with agencies and external suppliers
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent fluent English & Arabic (written and verbal) is a Must, German would be beneficial

 

Qualification

  • Relevant academic qualification and degree is mandatory.
