Main Objective

Increase collision parts turn over by developing and professionalising the Collision Repair business in the Middle East region.




Collision Repair Business Development Management

  • Professionalise Collision Repair Business by increasing the turnover of collision parts in the region
  • Strengthen the cooperation between GDs, Insurance companies and customers to drive the B&P business in the region
  • Development of regional “Mercedes-Benz Labelled Insurance Program” in cooperation with Daimler Financial Services
  • Prepare and organise regional and market specific Collision Repair/Accident Management Workshops for GDs and Insurance companies
  • Create awareness for “Mercedes Benz Repair Quality” among customers and insurance companies
  • Prepare regular reports reflecting development of Business Development related KPIs
  • Define and implement improvement measures across the region based on KPI developments
  • Coordination of Collision Repair/Accident Management activities within the After- Sales department, especially with Marketing and Market Management team

Body & Paint Processes and Standards

  • Constantly evaluate, improve and implement B&P workshop processes in the region in cooperation with GDs and Head Quarter
  • Regularly review and update B&P standards including processes, IT systems, job profiles and staff requirements, facility requirements, workshop equipment, special tools and repair competencies


  • Provide support in evaluation for training needs for GDs
  • Provide support in training organisation and preparation
  • Attend training related to responsibilities and tasks

Workshop Support

  • Support the GD network in all B&P related requests
  • Coordinate GD request with the Head Quarter
  • Provide accident repair support to GDs through definition and coordination of required repair steps with the factory


B&P Quality reporting

  • Monitor B&P quality of Mercedes-Benz products ex-factory and during vehicle operation
  • Report quality concerns to respective departments in the factory
  • Follow up on improvements of B&P quality with the factory
  • Support the warranty team in evaluation of B&P related claims

  • Experience in Business Development and/or Market Management
  • Management of complex projects
  • Organisation of events
  • Experience and extended knowledge about Mercedes-Benz Body & Paint products and processes
  • Experience in Accident Management processes
  • Marketing related projects
  • Working experience in an international and multi-cultural environment
  • Regional (Middle East) Experience advantageous
  • Very good communication (written and oral)
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Comprehensive Presentation skills
  • Good understanding about collision repair business and the motor insurance industry
  • Extended knowledge in all Mercedes-Benz products, knowledge about processes within After Sales Body Shop Organisation
  • Advanced MS Office product knowledge (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Very good English skills (German very advantageous)


  • Bachelors / Master’s Degree in either business/economics or science/engineering or equivalent experience
  • Technical vocational education (Passenger car specialist, etc.) / Technical background
