Marketing Communications Manager Passenger Cars



The purpose of this role is to work with the Marketing Communications Manager in planning, executing and evaluating the market intelligence, consumer and brand research programs of

Mercedes-Benz Cars Middle East (MBCME).

As Market Intelligence Senior Executive, he/she is the point of contact to have understanding of the overall business including market trends and analytics. Provides consulting and interpretation of market and consumer/customer research data to the organization to support business decisions and actions.


Main Objective

  • Demonstrate a strategic understanding of regional market research & intelligence tools & methodologies and how these can add value to sales, product management & marketing initiatives
  • Leverage Market Intelligence insights to provide actionable recommendations that fit into the regional local marketing and sales activities
  • Collaborate closely with team members, HQ, General Distributors (GDs) & other departments in cross-functional teams to support the achievement of business and brand objectives in the short and long-term



  • Responsible for the development and implementation of regional market research and intelligence methodology including data set requirements & specifications
  • Develop actionable insights from existing datasets available throughout the company and perform analysis to support decision making process
  • Execute regional analytics and qualitative/quantitative customer behaviour studies proactively and on request from key stakeholders, corporate functions and divisions
  • Support through sound market, brand and customer intelligence the design and execution of regional and local marketing campaign planning and targeting activities
  • Compiles and deliver business intelligence reports to internal end users on a regular basis
  • Drive deep consumer/customer understanding and ensure all marketing, sales and product management projects are designed with the consumer at the heart
  • Build strong relationship with all colleagues from HQ and subsidiaries and with research suppliers to ensure superior service

  • Seasoned business professional with a depth of experience in relevant fields
  • Relevant academic qualification and degree is mandatory
  • Will be a curious and creative individual able to understand quickly the complexities of the company’s products and services
  • Must be an effective communicator who thinks strategically, and speaks easily to large and small groups of internal and external stakeholders including peers and executives
  • Possess the appropriate diplomatic skills to work across a matrix organization and be a coalition builder who can easily communicate/defend positons from a data perspective and mediate opposing views to assist building confidence in finding business opportunities
  • Be result oriented with proven experience in partnering with business stakeholders with a blend of business acumen and market intelligence expertise
  • Solid project management experience and ability to prioritize and work on several projects simultaneously
  • Quantitative and qualitative research & analysis expertise (analysis, modeling, methodology, business impacts, reporting)
  • Passion for creating, mining, sharing and using sound solid, and accurate marketing data
  • Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills
