Support Revenue Controlling DCV MENA in the financial steering of business with GD markets in the region Middle East and Northern Africa for Mercedes–Benz Vans Sales and Customer Service & Parts (CSP).
Operational point of contact for Revenue Controlling DCV MENA for the Business Unit Mercedes-Benz Vans in the financial steering of business with GD markets in the region under consideration of volume and financial aspects, e.g. price/discount levels.
Accurate planning and reporting of business activities (Actuals, Operative Planning, Expected Actuals) in IMPACT and with other tools based on close interaction with business partner DCV MENA Vans Sales and CSP.
Transparent communication and alignment with Finance & Controlling (FC), Sales and CSP departments located in Dubai as well as in Germany or other countries.
Ensure correct and transparent reporting and analysis of business relevant data (incl. effects of discounts, credit notes, provisions, variable margins) and KPIs as basis for management decisions in Finance & Controlling, Sales and CSP. Any required ad-hoc reporting.
Ongoing evaluation and tracking of chances & risks to submitted targets/plans using Plan/Actuals analysis. In case of detected deviations to plan, initiation of discussion regarding compensation of such effects.
Propose demanding and target-oriented price positioning for running and new products aiming to ensure profitable growth as well as a market orientated price positioning. Proposal to be discussed between Sales and FC after detailed analysis and discussion with Regional Sales Manager and DCV MENA management.
Support financial evaluation of special sales measures and deals. Realistic evaluation of financial and volume effect of proposed sales measures. Prepare calculation for special deals/schemes (e.g. fleet) while ensuring compliance-relevant aspects. Support measures suggested/discussed at DCV MENA in discussion with FC Headquarter in Stuttgart.
Build up and enhance database in order to control, manage and analyse result effects.
Coordinate projects considering priority of controlling related tasks. Other sales related topics, i.e. ad-hoc management requests.
Good communication skills
Minimum 3 years of Finance, Controlling, Financial Analysis, Reporting or Sales experience
Extensive knowledge of processes, methods and systems
Good analytical and organisational skills
High Proficiency in MS Office Products
Impact system knowledge desirable
English a must, German desirable
Business Management Studies or comparable (Bachelor/Master)
