Main Objective

  • Coordinate with MBCME Core Team and external consultants during VAT Impact Assessment Project to ensure efficient realization of project deliverables
  • Derive actions from VAT Impact Assessment Project to be implemented by MBCME Core Team
  • Develop work packages with each Core Team Member and ensure timely delivery
  • Prepare VAT Registration
  • Ensure ERP system compliance and VAT-readiness by January 1, 2018
  • Set up VAT reports and prepare filing of1st VAT Return due in April 2018
  • Support Revenue Controlling

Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Organize and document workshops between MBCME Core Team and external consultants, provide structure to yield maximum results
  • Understand current processes and required adjustments due to VAT introduction, define necessary changes with each process owner, establish work packages, timeline and deliverables. Organize regular project meetings between MBCME Core Team members.
  • Gather required documents for online VAT Registration to be completed by November 15th, 2017
  • Cooperate with IT and external ERP system support to understand current system VAT capabilities and required configurations/adjustment to Procurement, Accounting, Service Agreement and Cost Controlling modules
  • Define required VAT reports, cooperate with IT and external ERP system support to set up automated reporting in ERP system and ensure correct/timely quarterly VAT Return filings
  • Ensure compliance of pricing and Revenue Controlling/Sales workflows

Knowledge/Skill/Experience

  • Work experience with Finance background in an established VAT environment (UK, European Union)
  • Project Management Skills
  • Knowledge of VAT treatment in ERP systems

  • Fluent in English

Qualification

  • Graduate in business administration or similar, at least 2 years of relevant work experience in Finance
