Reporting to
Head of Customer Services Dubai - Daimler Trucks Asia (DTA)

Main Objective

  • Analysis of General Distributors and its dealer body in order to ensure optimal marketing opportunities
  • Analysis of direct sales to exploit current market potentials of the Fuso CV business within selected markets of the Middle East and North Africa Region
  • Steering and development of optimal planning and reporting tools according to Daimler Headquarter requirements
  • Ensuring Compliance and Business Ethics according to Laws and Daimler rules and regulations


General Distributors Middle East and North Africa

  • Strategic co-ordination of Customer Services Spare Parts sales processes and positioning per market within regional coverage
  • Analysis of data to monitor performance and plan improvement and demand for the MENA markets
  • Prepare all necessary data entry and confirmation of key milestones (departure, arrival, customs clearance, POD’s, etc.) as specified by Customer Standard Operating Procedures
  • Ensure proper documentation, including transit documents & customs clearances
  • Ensure documentation is accurately processed, distributed and released to carrier, forwarders, customers and agents in a timely manner
  • Oversee and complete accurate billing to clients based on pricing established with the clients while ensuring accurate costs
  • Maintain & analyse database and report current competitive situations to facilitate sales strategies, study customer ordering behaviour to gain further insight into end customer penetration of parts
  • Provides analyses regarding data trends, history, and forecasts
  • Co-ordinate with logistics management to provide all the outstanding delivery orders on time
  • Issue PO to suppliers/vendors and follow up on delivery
  • Have an understanding of the marketplace and customer requirements with the ability to deliver customer satisfaction
  • Weekly customer interface for new opportunity identification within regional market
  • Co-ordinated customer approaches in fleet business and fleet support programs
  • Safeguard implemented compliance measures

Headquarters Tokyo/Chennai

  • Operational planning per year based on market by market for quantitative and qualitative aspects
  • Monthly sales planning and reporting by volume and pricing targets
  • Market analysis including fleet deals and lost sales
  • Reporting on the incentive programs put in place to ensure parts penetration
  • Coordination of logistics with relevant departments in India and Japan

  • 3-4 years knowledge of the Automotive, Commercial Vehicle and Logistics Industry. Within Middle East and North Africa region preferred
  • Good negotiating and communication skills
  • Customer focused and familiar in working with partners (internal and external)
  • Cultural knowledge of the Middle East region
  • English as a must. Urdu and/or Arabic preferable
  • Wholesale and/or Retail sales experience in the commercial vehicle business within Middle East and North Africa region preferred
  • Business background back ground / thorough technical understanding


  • Degree in Business Management, Business/Engineering or equivalent qualification
