Main Objective

Manage all product and price related issues.

Responsible for all planning and reporting related tasks and the ordering and allocation process of all products.

Ensure that all necessary products and prices are available in the markets of the assigned region in a timely and competitive manner.

Manage all product lifecycles (incl. pricing, product features, tactical measures, homologation etc.) proactively to maximise sales potential for every carline.

Ensure accurate and timely volume planning to HQ and the MBCME organisation regarding retail, wholesale, production requirements as well as stock KPIs for short-term, mid-term and long-term planning.

Proactively provide meaningful reporting and presentations for all KPIs for management, operational level and HQ.

Manage allocation and requirements to enable best sales results within the region.

Ensure an overall strategy for the region is in place to maximise sales potential and profitability.

Develop a culture of high performance in the Mercedes-Benz Cars Sales Planning and Product Management department.





  • Motivate and coach the MBC Sales Planning and Product Management team
  • Identify proactively talents and create development plans for team members incl. adequate training programs
  • Responsible for target setting process
  • Review regularly target achievement /contribution of employees and provide regular feedback

Product Management

  • Coordinate, plan and execute product related topics
  • Develop, coordinate and implement product measures in line with requirements from Markets and Sales team in line with overall target achievement
  • Analyse and identify product opportunities within the region
  • Communicate product/price related topics to GDs and within MBCME Marketing and Sales team on a timely basis
  • Define proactively product and pricing strategy for the markets ensuring competitive pricing in line with DAG requirements


  • Ensure that market specific planning is done accurately on a monthly basis
  • Transparent and reliable planning of volumes in alignment with Sales team
  • Allocate and coordinate vehicle specification and booking in alignment with GD, Sales team, and Order Management team in HQ in order to support sales target achievement


  • Analyse subsequently achieved results and define activities/target setting for the upcoming months
  • Report competitive data and performance in line with DAG Antitrust regulation
  • Measure performance in terms of target achievement (TA), previous year (PY) and core competitor performance
  • Responsible for all reporting to support MBCME Marketing and Sales team
  • Prepare and lead of monthly sales meeting
  • Provide meaningful management reporting
  • Lead in preparing several management presentations for e.g. board meetings, regional sales and marketing meetings, sales meetings etc.


  • Develop holistic strategy to ensure profitable growth in the region in line with DAG strategy
  • Track and implement measures in order to pursue strategic target
  • Lead in preparing and coordinating Strategic Planning (SP), Operative Planning (OP) and MAD (Market Alignment Discussion) preparation within MBCME and in coordination with DAG
  • Support Sales team in allocation and planning management for all markets in the region
  • Support Sales team with reports and analysis to ensure targets can be achieved

  • Leadership experience and ability to lead a team of professionals mandatory.
  • Structured approach to problem solving and strong analytical skills mandatory.
  • Good organizational skills mandatory.
  • Strong reporting and presentation skills including database and excel management mandatory.
  • Knowledge of volume planning and sales volume steering experience mandatory.
  • Management experience in complex and dynamic environments mandatory.
  • Product management and understanding of product strategies in complex market environments required.
  • Extensive knowledge of pricing strategies in the automotive industry required.
  • Extensive experience in wholesale / retail steering at HQ and market level required.
  • A combination of sales and controlling background preferential.
  • Detailed knowledge of Daimler AG specific volume planning and reporting systems of advantage.
  • Knowledge of MBC product range incl. specifications and systems (i.e. Advantages Online) of advantage.
  • English mandatory, German and Arabic an asset.


  • Graduate Degree in Business studies and/or qualification and experience in retail/wholesale organizations.
