Overview

 

  • Establish process in Accounting to manage Training Centre Receivables
  • Ensure correct VAT treatment of Training services to General Distributors, provide transparency regarding VAT related to the Training Centre
  • Ensure transparency of Training Centre’s cost and revenue at all times

Responsibilities

  • Understand Training Centre’s business model, its set-up as a branch of Mercedes-Benz Cars Middle East FZE (MBCME) and changes required due to new VAT environment in GCC
  • Understand VAT treatment of different Training services depending on nature, customer and location of services provided
  • Define, implement and execute end-to end process to set up Sales Orders, issue monthly invoices and ensure timely collection for training services while ensuring tax compliance at all times
  • Compile monthly reports to allocate tax related to Training Centre activities based on MBCME monthly VAT filings
  • Monitor Training Centre actual cost and revenue continuously vs. budget. In coordination with Cost Controlling Manager, compile a monthly budget report to provide P&L transparency to the Training Centre Management Team

  • Solid Accounting knowledge
  • Knowledge of VAT and its treatment in ERP systems

  • Fluent in English

Qualification

  • Graduate in business administration or similar, at least 1 year of relevant work experience in Finance
