    Main Objective:

     

    Support Mercedes-Benz Cars Middle East’s public and media relations programs, with the goal of enhancing its public image. Provide assistance to the assigned PR agency in cultivating good relationships between MBC ME and key automotive and non-automotive regional media through planned publicity campaigns and a wide range of PR activities centrally (HQ) or locally (MBC ME) driven.

    Responsibilities

    Task Description:

     

    • Manage the preparation of press releases in collaboration with PR agency
    • Support the execution of PR photo shoots for print & digital
    • Assist in preparing PR events for new model launches
    • Sourcing of PR and editorial content from the Daimler Global News Bureau
    • Receive and analyze monthly PR reports from assigned agency
    • Provide ad-hoc support to agency and media when required
    • Maintain the press car booking plans with support of the PR agency; ensuring vehicles are constantly in use
    • Compile monthly PR reports for Sr. Management
    • Perform research and market analysis activities

    Knowledge/Skill/Experience:

    • Previous relevant experience in Public Relations and/or Communications – either through internships within an agency or a corresponding department
    • Strong interest in in marketing and communications
    • Automotive experience is of help
    • Being familiar with common social media tools is a prerequisite
    • English is a must; Arabic and/or German a plus
    • (Under) Graduate in Business adminstriation or simialr
