  • Overview

    Main Objective

    The purpose of this role is to work with the Marketing Manager in planning, executing and evaluating the marketing programs of Mercedes-Benz Passenger Cars in the Middle East & Levant.

    Active involvement in all marketing topics and project ownership of select assigned product categories.

    The job role entails all aspects of marketing and includes briefing and steering of external suppliers and agencies on regional activity (including media & events planning and advertising campaign development) and collaboration with General Distributors on local activity.






    Regional Marketing

    To support the Marketing Manager in developing and executing regional marketing activities according to business and brand objectives for assigned brand topics and vehicle segments/models:

    • Marketing & campaign ownership of respective brand topics and vehicle segments/models during the entire product lifecycle
    • Management and tracking of marketing budget for assigned campaigns
    • Execution and project management of advertising campaigns across all channels (offline + online media) from gathering of global advertising assets to regional and local artwork adaptation, and post-evaluation of effectiveness of campaigns
    • Execution and project management of events for assigned vehicle segments and models
    • Briefing and project management of external agencies and suppliers
    • Alignment with Digital Marketing division and Public Relations to ensure synergies are leveraged and marketing programs are executed effectively and efficiently
    • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to leverage synergies and ensure effectiveness and efficiency in product marketing (Sales, Product & Pricing, After-Sales, Network Development)
    • Supporting our General Distributors (GDs) in providing guidance and direction on global and regional marketing strategy, as well as adaptation and execution of local marketing plans and approvals of material in accordance with our brand guidelines
    • Direct contact for GDs regarding ad-hoc and day-to-day marketing requests for assigned vehicle segments and models

    • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Marketing, preferably in media and/or events marketing
    • Automotive marketing experience is a Plus
    • Experience in international or crossborder marketing campaigns
    • Knowledge of regional media channels from print, outdoor, radio, TV, digital & online (previous media planning experience is a Plus)
    • Solid project management experience and ability to prioritize and work on several projects simultaneously
    • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent English & Arabic skills (in writing and verbally) is a must; German a plus
