    Main Objective

     

    RC Africa is taking care of Sales and Customer Service & Parts of activities of Daimler Trucks in the Western, Central and Eastern African Markets. We are operating out of our offices in Nairobi, Kenya and Dubai, UAE. For the Market Launch of the New Mercedes-Benz Truck in our markets we are looking for Marketing and Communication support.

    Responsibilities

    For the Market Launch of SFTP we are looking for for a Marketing & Communications Expert to:

    • Ensure a consistent, effective and professional regional Marketing and Communication of Mercedes-Benz Trucks and Customer Services & Parts in our African region to achieve best possible market exploitation within the available budgets and resources
    • Closely coordinate and align Sales and Customer Services & Parts Marketing and Communication activities with Daimler Headquarters, with RC Africa and General Distributors & Authorized Dealers
    • Provide guidance and support to partners in the network related to national Marketing & Communication activities and monitor their activities
    • Support in the development of the Marketing & Communication Plan and Budget for Sales and Customer Services & Parts for Mercedes-Benz Trucks
    • Generate appropriate measures to enhance the achievement of Sales & After-Sales targets, implement the defined measures and ensure a follow-up. Assure the effectiveness of the selected Marketing & Communication measures, considering the market environment and competitive situation
    • Support in the implementation and maintenance of marketing processes and measures in accordance with corporate standards and principles (e.g. CI) and the Mercedes-Benz Trucks Marketing Strategy, considering specific regional requirements and conditions

    Knowledge/Skill/Experience

    • Experience in the automotive business; experience in different areas of Marketing & Communication on manufacturer/wholesale/retail level
    • Knowledge in (preferably Mercedes-Benz) Commercial Vehicle products as well as related systems and processes advantageous
    • Dedicated brand and customer-orientation
    • Experience in the African region and market conditions is preferred
    • Excellent MS-Office and Internet applications abilities
    • Distinctive brand and product passion, analytical/managerial/ coordinative skills; creative thinking
    • Willingness to conduct travels
    • Languages: English (must) and French (preferably), German (advantageous)

    Qualification

    • Graduate (Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or similar)
