    A fantastic opportunity exists for a customer focused individual with a can-do attitude to join our Sales team within Mercedes-Benz Cars Middle East. In this role, you will work closely with the Corporate Business Manager, Regional Market Managers, Head of Sales and Finance and Controlling stakeholders, utilizing your excellent organizational and analytical skills to construct, document, agree and track Sales campaigns and tactical Sales measures for the Middle East region and General Distributors.

    Responsibilities

    Yearly Budget & Sales Channel Planning

    • To support the Corporate Business Manager & Head of Sales in future sales planning and preparation of documents for alignment and discussion with Daimler AG
    • To develop a Sales plan for the following year (Sales Channel Split, Special Discount Budget per Sales Channel)

    Quarterly Sales Campaigns

    • To construct product specific sales campaigns following the monthly sales planning meeting
    • To liaise with Corporate Business Manager and Regional Market Managers on the specifics of programmes and how effectiveness can be measured and tracked
    • Together with the Corporate Business Manager, document and present all sales related measures to Finance
    • To create a central database to track all schemes in relation to Budget, Committed vs Actual spend, Time period and Stock Implications
    • To communicate agreed Sales Campaigns to the General Distributors in a pre-agreed format for implementation

    Quarterly Sales Steering Measures

    • In conjunction with Corporate Business Manager and Regional Market Managers, to review measures required in addition to Regional / Market specific product sales campaigns to ensure monthly and quarterly targets are met
    • To present quarterly steering measures to Finance and Controlling in a pre-agreed format and with a structured process for approval
    • Together with the Corporate Business Manager, to review and present the status of campaigns in relevant meetings

    Overview of Type Class Budget Spend

    • To create a database that highlights agreed special discount committed funds
    • To maintain overview and highlight areas of opportunity with actions in addition to current support

    Product / Planning & Marketing Understanding

    • To understand current premia positions into current pricing overview and understand the impact of proposed sales campaigns
    • To evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and obtain a further understanding of correlations between sales, product and pricing
    • To understand ordering and planning processes and be able to add input on planning premises regarding the effects of campaigns as well as ideas for future campaigns

    Educational Background

    • University Degree (Business Studies, Economics, Business Management, International Business management)
    • Master in Business Administration preferred

    Technical Knowledge

    • Excellent knowledge in all MS Office products, especially Excel and Powerpoint

    Knowledge/Experience

    • 2-3 years Automotive Industry experience with key knowledge obtained in the fields of Automotive Sales, Planning & Ordering and Product & Pricing
    • Experience of interrelations between sales and marketing departments

    • Clear understanding of General Distributor sales operations and processes
    • Knowledge of General Distributor sales funnel/enquiry tracking tools
    • Strong product and pricing knowledge of MB and other premium automotive products
    • GCC and Levant market knowledge
    • Individual Competence
    • Excellent organizational, planning and coordinating skills
    • Ability to manipulate and extract data from a variety of sources to create a clear output/ result
    • Ability to take a task and use initiative to deliver the final result with limited managerial input
    • Ability to present in front of senior management
    • Cultural understanding of GCC and Levant
    • English essential, German an advantage
