    Human Resources Business Partner

     

    Main Objective

    Act as first point of contact to the respective departments, providing a pro-active, professional and efficient HR service with strong focus on employee relations, recruitment, leave topics, training and development, employment law, compensation & benefits, policies & guidelines and all other HR related matters.

     

    Responsibilities

    Recruitment

    •  Ensuring up to date and accurate Job Descriptions
    •  Posting vacancies internally and externally
    •  Working closely with the business units and supervisor to understand the needs of the department to fill the vacancy in a timely manner
    •  Shortlisting and conducting interviews
    •  Employee on-boarding, documents verification and induction (including travel, housing and visa arrangements)
    •  LinkedIn Management

    Global Assignee Management

    •  Arranging Look and See Trips
    •  Organizing On and Off-boarding procedures
    •  Visa assistance
    •  Housing, schooling and family language training coordination
    •  Liaising with HRD/G
    •  Compliance with Going Global Policy
    •  Benefit Reporting to Headquarter in GAM IT

    Learning and Development

    •  Working closely with HR Executive to ensure training coordination and employee development for respective departments
    •  Coordination of internal trainings such as Focus Topics, Talent Teacher etc.

    Performance Management

    •  Supporting the HRBP with respective department’s performance reviews
    •  Preparation and participation in yearly LEAD / NPMS discussions with department heads

    HR Projects

    •  Being an instrumental source of developing and implementing HR projects
    •  Focus on employer Branding and Marketing
    •  Strong focus on Leadership 2020 and local implementation of HR initiatives

    HR Compliance

    •  Ensuring full compliance of HR checklists and documentation
    •  Ensuring 4-eye principle and segregation of duties are adhered to at all times
    •  Ensuring the employee handbook is accurate, relevant and up to date

    HR Systems

    •  Data maintenance in HRWT, ESS, GPM, GAM IT, LEAD IT and NPMS (Internal Daimler Systems)

    Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

    •  Minimum of 3 years’ experience preferably in HR or similar field
    •  Proficient in MS Office Products
    •  Time management and organisational skills with a structured approach to tasks
    •  Ability to deal with sensitive information in a confidential manner
    •  Able to prioritise and manage a diverse and demanding workload
    •  Able to work in a culturally diverse environment
    •  Customer focused – familiar with working with a range of partners, both internal and external
    •  Good understanding of generalist HR procedures
    •  Adaptable and enthusiastic to improve the capacity of the role and to move forward
    •  Understanding of UAE Labour Law legislation is beneficial
    •  Fluency in English is a must, German and Arabic is beneficial

    Qualification:

    •  University degree with focus of HR or Psychology
