    Reporting to

    Local Compliance Manager


    Main Objectives

    To provide support with the implementation and maintenance of an effective Compliance Management System in accordance with corporate requirements and local laws and regulations. This includes ensuring:

    • Compliance and Integrity awareness
    • Compliance risk assessments, performance monitoring and reporting
    • Implementation of risk based control procedures based on Daimler Compliance standard
    • Ongoing, effective communications and training on Compliance requirements for both internal stakeholders as well as external business partners



    • Providing a timely, effective and consistently applied Compliance consultation and documentation process
    • Business Partner Integrity Management; including due diligence process support and monitoring of government and other high risk transactions by supporting the Mandatory Consultation Process (Transaction Check)

    Checks against Sanction Lists (CSL)

    • 1st level sanctions clearing on local entity level which includes (i) comprehensive assessment of potential hits and (ii) filing decision template for the Checks against Sanctions Lists (CSL) in case of specific listings and escalation to 2nd level sanctions clearing
    • Locally ensure adequate and effective IT interfaces to Critical Account System (CAS) to ensure integration of local sanctions, terror lists into the CAS Sanctions Compliance Tool

    Anti-Money-Laundering (AML)

    • Establishment of risk-based AML prevention measures on local entity-level
    • Continuous analysis of the national AML-legislation applicable to the local entity

    Data Protection

    • Establish employee awareness of data protection topics
    • Prepare local instructions in coordination with management
    • Monitoring of new data (protection) laws and regulations and identification of local implementation needs


    • Create awareness on the topic of integrity through communication (e.g. promoting the integrity code, toolbox, Infopoint Integrity and trainings) and support local management with implementation of a "tone from the top"
    • Organize together with the local organization integrity events on a unit level, provide content (e.g. unit specific cases)
    • Give advice to managers and employees on integrity topics

    • Basic knowledge and experience in Legal, Internal Audit, Accounting or similar
    • Basic knowledge in applicable international and local laws (Anti-corruption, Anti-Money Laundering, Data Protection), Sanctions Lists and other applicable regulations an
    • Familiarity with corporate and local Daimler business practices and sales processes is an advantage
    • Fluent in spoken and written English


    • Graduate (business administration, management, law or similar)
    • Professional qualification on responsible leadership, Compliance or corporate sustainability is an advantage
